The Associate of Applied Sciences in HVAC/R is designed for individuals seeking to further advance their career choices in the HVAC/R industry with an emphasis on Commercial HVAC/R. The program provides hands-on training and experience using the latest industry-standard tools, software, technology, and equipment to provide the student with the most comprehensive learning experience available. The curriculum emphasizes the practical knowledge and experience necessary for success in the Residential and Commercial HVAC/R sector, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of Residential and Commercial HVAC/R Systems, Light Commercial Refrigeration Systems, along with the use of Building Automation Controls, Industrial Motors and Controls (PLCs) and more to improve energy efficiency, streamline operations, and reduce operating costs.
